About the journal
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences has been the publisher of the peer reviewed journal Hudební věda since 2019. Linking up with the tradiiton established by the research paper collections Musikologie and Hudební věda, this journal has ranked from its establishment in 1964 among the standard specialist periodicals in the field of musicology.
The journal's aim is to publish scholarly articles, reviews, conference/symposium reports and documents related to musical culture, with an emphasis on specific Czech aspects of current pursuits in musicology and music theory.
This journal is a fully peer reviewed periodical, with published texts subjected to the standard double-blinded reviewing process.
